- Description
- The Chugach National Forest intends to issue a request for quote solicitation package for outhouse vault toilet pumping on the Glacier Ranger District, Girdwood, Alaska. Outhouse vault toilet pumping is on an "as needed" call out basis. The contractor shall be responsible for pumping and properly disposing of all waste cleaned out of the vaults in accordance with Federal, State and local laws. The request for quote solicitation will be posted, on FedBizOpps, on 23 Aug 2013 for viewing and printing. Potential quoters are requested to obtain the solicitation from the internet. Responses will be due by 2pm on 10 Sep 2013. This project is a 100% small business set-aside. The applicable NAICS code is 562991 and the size standard is $7 million. The area of performance is Girdwood, Portage Valley and Kenai Peninsula, Alaska. In order to be eligible for award, it is a requirement that contractors register in the System for Award Management (SAM) database and also be registered under the NAICS code that this solicitation is being issued under. To register in SAM, go to www. sam.gov. Registration in the SAM database must remain current throughout the term of the contract.
