Description
Minimum Essential Characteristics for SLICE PRO Upgrade Each of customer's two (2) existing DTS SLICE PRO data acquisition systems are 9 channel prototype units that requires an upgrade. The existing PROs are each capable of acquiring nine (9) data channels at a rate of 1 Msps. The upgrade required will increase the channel count to eighteen (18) channels per PRO and add the ability to power IEPE sensors. The upgrade must meet the following minimum essential characteristics: Units will be brought up to production line standards, including board configurations, production firmware and IEPE capability. Units will be assigned production serial numbers. --Units must support a variety of external sensors types: Bridge (MEMS, strain, and load), IEPE, and voltage as a minimum. --Units must be compatible with the DTS TDAS G5 hardware --Units must meet data acquisition requirements of SAE J211 and ISO 6487 --Units will have a user selectable sampling rate up to 1 Msps per channel. --Units will support three data recording modes: Recorder, Circular buffer and multiple test modes. --Units will have a minimum of 16 GB of non-volatile flash memory per module. --Unit will operate in a temperature range of 0 to 60 C. --Unit will operate on 9 to 15 VDC. --The units will have a bandwidth of DC to 200 kHz. --The units will have an input range of 15.6mV to 500mV at 200 kHz. --The units will have a 16-bit SAR ADC, per channel. --The units will be capable of offsetting up to 1250mV. --The units will provide programmable excitation of 2.0 and 5.0 Vdc as a minimum along with an IEPE compliance current when selected in software. --The units will have as a minimum a fixed 4-pole Butterworth filter with a 200 kHz cutoff. --The units will provide a programmable 5 pole Butterworth filter. After upgrade, each unit must undergo the normal acceptance procedure for a unit off the production line. Acceptance test results will be provided with the return of the upgraded units.
