- This synopsis is being posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at https://www.fbo.gov It is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet. Please use this site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request For Quotation (RFQ) number is N66604-13-Q-1536. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-27. Size standard is 500 employees, NAICS code 334519. NUWC Division Newport intends to upgrade its Code 15 Hull Arrays Laboratory in the Trident Life Cycle Support Facility which requires the purchase of 1ea EchoTherm IR NDI System - Digital, part# ET-2000-01-00-DG, which includes 1ea Mosaiq Software v.4.x single station license (SW-MOSL-01-00-40) and 1ea Table-top Stand. Required delivery is 60 days after award, F.O.B. Destination Naval Station Newport; Newport, RI. It is expected to place a purchase order with Thermal Wave Imaging. The Government needs these particular items because they run on software proprietary to Thermal Wave Imaging and the Government's legacy system and data is readable only by that proprietary software. All other timely offers will be considered. Offers for other products must contain complete product information and prices. FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items applies. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items, DFARS 252.211-7003, Item Identification and Valuation (Jun 2013). The following addenda or additional terms and conditions apply: none. Offers should include price and delivery terms and the following additional information: Cage Code.
