- Security Requirements Additional Clauses Full Text Description This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to solicit and negotiate with GSA Schedule holder contractor Johnson Control, Inc 50 W. Wakins Mills Road, Gaithersburg, MD to provide electronic and security components under its existing FBI Blanket Purchase Agreement contract # GS-07F-7823C/J-FBI-12-208. Supplies will be delivered to FBI's Facilities Logistic Service Division at 935 Pennsylvania Ave, NW, Washington, D.C. 20535. The following is a list of Open Market components that will be procured under RFQ # 2124138862: 1. Part # H2+4652450TEF2+4 26D: Maray Electric Door Hinge, H2+4652450 2. Part # 920PHRNEK00004 : HID, RDR, RP40-H, PIVCLASS, SE E, LF STD, HF STD/SIO/SEOS/FIPS/CAK, 485FDX, PIG, BLK, STD-1, LED RED, FLSH GRN, BZR ON, OPT TAMP, OPEN COLL, FIPS 200-BIT, IPM OFF, UART OFF, WIEG ON 3. Part # 921PHRNEK0002D : HID RDR, RPK40-H, PIVCLASS, SE E, LF STD, HF STD/SIO/SEOS/FIPS/CAK, 485FDX, PIG, BLK, STD-1, LED RED, FLSH GRN, BZR ON, OPT TAMP, OPEN COLL, FIPS 200-BIT, KPF, BFFRD 1 KEY, DOR COMPL, NO PAR, 8-BIT MSG, IPM OFF, UART OFF, WIEG ON 4. Part # ER-148 : Head End, 19 Inch Equipment Rack 48 inch ER-148 The equipment being solicited under this synopsis will be used to augment and enhance the existing Physical Access Control, Video Monitoring, and Intrusion Detection systems currently installed. Any new components installed must be compatible with the existing equipment and embedded controls to maintain the integrity of the security system as a whole. Based on the market research conducted, it has been determined that both open market and schedule items can be obtained by the aforementioned GSA Schedule holder contractor. In an effort to prevent the risk of voiding the manufacturer's warranty, the Government has determined that it would be more advantageous to award to a single contractor for all supplies and equipment required. This is a notice of intent and not a request for competitive proposals. Any responsible source that believes it is capable of meeting the requirements may submit a response to be considered by the agency. Responses to this posting must be submitted to the Contracting Officer on or before September 6, 2013. A determination not to compete the described contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Federal Government. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes for this procurement are: 334290, 561622, 561521, and 334118.
