- Sources Sought Synopsis - Maintenance Services for General Electric High Technology Medical Equipment. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Healthcare Administration, Network Contracting Office 19 is seeking potential sources that are capable of providing maintenance inspections, checks, services, OEM parts, repair work and technical support incorporated into a Maintenance Service Agreement for the following General Electric Medical Imaging Equipment that includes both equipment and software. The equipment is located at the VA Salt Lake City Healthcare System in Salt Lake City, UT. Equipment List: GE X-Ray Innova 4100 and workstations, GE CT/I with HAS Tube, GE PET Discovery VCT and workstations, GE MR 1.5T HDx ECHOSPEED, GE MR Magnet and Cryogen, GE CT LIGHTSPEED VCT, GE X-Ray Volcano IVUS, GE NM INFINIA with HAWKEYE (4), GE XELERIS workstation, GE UL LOGIQ 7, GE VIVID I, AND GE VIVID 7 NON 4D. All interested businesses are requested to submit a response demonstrating their capabilities to provide a maintenance service agreement for ALL of the specified equipment. The business must be qualified to provide services for ALL listed equipment. Businesses responding must be authorized service representatives for the General Electric and provide detailed written documentation from General Electric that clearly substantiates technical compliance for ALL listed equipment. The business must document authorized access to equipment technical specifications and operational software required for equipment failure diagnosis, corrective repairs, new OEM parts and system updates and upgrades to equipment and software. Include in your response: -1 the written documentation from GE as an authorized service representative for all of the listed equipment; -2 draft outline of key elements of a maintenance agreement, -3 the helpdesk support process and -4 information about current maintenance agreements with other commercial companies.
