- Description
- Questionnaire Point of Use Machine Procurement, Installation and Warranty Sources Sought Synopsis NOTICE: This is not a solicitation but rather a Sources Sought Synopsis to determine potential sources for information and planning purposes only. The purpose of this Sources Sought is to conduct market research to determine if responsible sources exist, to assist in determining if this effort can be solicited as an unrestricted competition and/or a total Small Business Set-Aside. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 333318, with a size standard of 1,000. If you feel a different NAICS code is more appropriate, please identify that NAICS code. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government is interested in all small businesses to include 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Hubzone, and Women-Owned small business concerns. The government requests that all interested parties respond to this notice if applicable and identify your small or large business status to the identified or proposed NAICS code. Additionally, please provide any anticipated teaming arrangements, along with a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers for the past three years. Any responses involving teaming agreements should delineate between the work that will be accomplished by the prime and the work accomplished by the teaming partners. The United States Air Force (AF) Ogden Air Logistics Complex (OO-ALC) is seeking sources for the procurement, of government owned Point of Use (POU) Cabinets. These POU Cabinets will provide tools, consumable tools and consumable supplies to production technicians throughout the OO-ALC, Falcon Star Program (Structural Augmentation Roadmap) Building 225 and 265 at Hill Air Force Base (AFB), and the Aircraft Maintenance Regeneration Group (AMARG) at Davis Monthan AFB. This Sources Sought is issued for information and planning purposes only. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered as proposals nor will any award be made as a result of this Sources Sought. The AF will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this request. This FedBizOpps notice is an announcement seeking market information on businesses capable of providing the services as described herein. OO-ALC is currently conducting market research to determine qualified, experienced, and interested potential sources. The information requested by this Sources Sought will be used within the AF to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside the agency. However, respondents submitting business information pursuant to this Sources Sought should consult 41 C.F.R. part 105-60 and other implementing regulations concerning the release of such information to third parties under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). All information submitted by respondents that they consider confidential and not releasable to third parties outside of the AF, and its employees, agents, consultants, and representatives, must be clearly and conspicuously so marked. The Government requests interested parties to submit a letter of interest, brief statement of current capability and responses to the attached Capabilities Questionnaire. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. Interested and qualified sources should provide the following information: (1) company name, cage code, point of contact, e-mail address, telephone and fax numbers, type of business and size; (2) a list of your most recent and relevant DoD or commercial contracts (not to exceed five) to include brief description, names, POCs, phone numbers, value & type of contract, and period of performance; (3) information about your company and why you think you can perform this service; (4) if your warranty is outside of the commercial norm, please indicate what your warranty is; (5) Can you provide a cataloged price list of your parts; and (6) answers to questionnaire. Please limit your submissions to ten pages. Send responses to Chuck Hanor via email to charles.hanor@hill.af.mil in PDF or Microsoft Word Format. You can reach him at (801) 777-9306. In order to be considered in this market survey, please reply by close of business Friday, 4 Oct 2013.
