Description
Amendment 1 The following questions were asked and we answered: 1. How high are the poles? A: Poles are approximately 100' in height but luminaires are attached to a lowering device, all work is performed from the ground. 2. Is there any known difficulty to lowering the fixtures, such as security cameras, attachments to the pole or lowering mechanism failures? A: No known difficulty to the lowering devices on any poles. 3. Where are the breakers located and they exposed to the elements? Any known corrosion existing? A: Breakers are located in MCC's inside houses. Luminaires are disconnected from electricity in the lowered position and may only be powered when physically plugged into the receptacle on the light ring. 4. Please clarify which wage determination applies, "Service Contract Act" or "Davis-Bacon"? A: Service Contract Act. 5. Is there any kind of surety or bonds required? A: No 6. For the workers who reside out of state, can the background check be performed where they reside or by mail? A: Background check will be performed electronically for any US Citizen. Personally identifiable information may be submitted by mail or electronically. 7. Please clarify item 1.1 on page 37 of the RFP specificies 3 rings. Should this read 2 rings? A: Base Bid 1 is for work on two (2) high mast light poles with a total of sixteen (16) luminaires. See revised SOW for quantity correction.
