Description
Update/Install of VTC equipment for the CAC. There is some quipment that will be reused. Site visit is mandatory, scheduled for 9/13/2013 at 10 AM Central Time at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. There is a formal solicitation which contains the line items and clauses/provisions applicatable for this work.Specs are below but if you need them in a different format, request them ( and the formal solicitation)as needed from Ben Szemere at benjamin.szemere@us.army.mil PERFORMANCE OF WORK STATEMENT FOR COMMAND AREA MEDIA BUILDOUT 1.DESCRIPTION OF WORK The contractor shall deliver displays, mounts, and connectivity related cabling to specified locations. All work shall be completed within 10 calendar days of delivery date stated in contract. All on-site work shall be performed between the hours of 0730-1600 Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays, and shall be coordinated with the CAC G6 coordinator or his designated alternate representative to ensure availability of the venues where the work will be performed. 2.DETAILED ITEM DESCRIPTION a.Delivery: Contractor will recieve all equipment and store off sight. During the installation days the contractor shall deliver all display, mounts and equipment required for installation. All packing maetrials and other related debris shall be removed from the delivery site. b.Equipment needed for installation: Contractor shall provide all equipment needed to install displays and mounts in a way that they do not damage the current construction. c.Install of new displays: Contractor shall install the new display and mounts in the designated areas as instructed by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) d.Connecting the displays: Contractor connect and install any additional wiring and or input cards need for the control of the new displays. e.Testing: The contractor shall test the displays to insure displays are working before departing the area upon completion of all work. f.Training: The Contractor shall provide on-site hands-on proficiency training on the new systems. 3.LOCATIONS OF INSTALLATION DEPUTY to the COMMANDING GENRAL OFFICE: Install (1) new 80 quote mark Display (equal to or better than Sharp Aquos 80 quote mark LED Monitor model number LC80LE632U) with (1) tilt mount on north facing wall. In addition, install GFE display Generic 27 inch LED TV on (1) Vendor will provide ceiling mount in corner on north wall (Cable TV only Government Furnished Equipment (GFE)). Install (1) transmitter USB and (1) receiver HDMI from GFE PC DELL to vendor provided 80 quote mark display (equal or better than Sharp Aquos 80 quote mark LED monitor model number LC80LE632U). Inputs at GFE computer will be HDMI and VGA/Audio input plate will be provided by the vendor. Provided (1) transmitter and (1) receiver for GFE USB camera (DCO). Also, install (1) 60 quote mark interactive display (equal to or better than 60 quote mark Sharp Interactive Display model number PNL602B). a.60 quote mark Interactive (mentioned above) and (1) tilt mount. Vendor will provide all additional cables and connectors needed to complete install and operability. All Power and cat5 or cat6 cable runs will be GFE. b. CHIEF of STAFF OFFICE: Install (1) 39 quote mark display (equal to or better than Panasonic 39 inch HDMI LED TV model number TCL39EM60) with a (1) tilt mount. All Power and cable runs will be GFE. c. COMMANDING GENRAL'S OFFICE: Install GFE Display Generic 42 inch LCD TV on (1) Vendor provided tilt mount. All Power and cable runs will be GFE. d. COMMANDING GENERAL'S VTC AREA: Install (1) codec Polycom HDX8000. Must be Polycom because of the cost to install another brand other that Polycom would be cost prohibitive, (1) camera, a Polycom Eagle Eye. Again, the reprogramming cost of a different brand would cost prohibitive, and (1) Polycom Microphone array. Install (1) Polycom quad BRI Module and necessary cables. Provided a 3 year service contract for all equipment which will provided system updates, unlimited training, service and repairs. Install a ISEC Free Port switch which will allow the use of a classified and unclassified VTC using one codec. ISEC is the only provider of this equipment. Install (2) 60 quote mark professional grade monitors (equal to or better than Sharp LCD monitor model number PNE602) on (2) tilt mounts provided by the vendor. Install a JITC certified VTC system which will include install and setup and training of all equipment list in this PWS. All ISDN/IP and power are to be GFE. The system will be capable of making classified and unclassified calls. e. EXECUTIVE SERVICES OFFICE: Install two GFE displays Generic 42 Inch LCD TVs) and mounts in Conference room and waiting area. Vendor will install in conference room a computer interface with HDMI VGA and audio which will be run to GFE display. All Power and cable runs will be GFE. f. OTHER INFORMATION : The one in the office on the north wall there is only big enough to accommodate the monitor and cabling. All equipment mounts flush to the wall and the shelves and brackets are included with the Polycom system. Camera mounts too. All TVs are being mounted on Vendor supplied mounts. All network connectivity racks and such are already in place at the central VTC control location
