Description

The Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) has a requirement for local telephone exchange services for ALTESS, Radford, VA to include commercial subscriber lines, digital access trunks, Primary Rate Interface (PRI) trunks, transport channels and direct inward dialing (DID) numbers. The proposed award will be a firm-fixed price type contract for a base year and four one-year options. All Incumbent and Competitive Local Exchange Carriers certified by the State of Virginia may submit an offer. Sources responding to this requirement must indicate in writing whether they are a large, small, disadvantaged and /or women-owned business s. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) for this acquisition is 4813. Release of the Request for Proposal (RFP) is anticipated on or about 27 September 2013. When released the RFP can be viewed and downloaded from the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition Business Web Site located at https://acquisition.army.mil/. Please e-mail questions relating to this notice to the Contracting Officer. A pre-proposal meeting and site visit for this requirement is tentatively scheduled for 10 October 2013 at 10:00 AM (local time) at the ALTESS Network Enterprise Center (NEC). Offerors are encouraged to attend. Offerors planning to attend must submit a request via e-mail to the Contracting Officer no later than 03 October 2013.
