Description

The Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) Office of Acquisition Operations, on behalf of the Veteran Affairs Office of Information and Technology, intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to RussElectric, Inc. located at 99 Industrial Park Rd, Hingham, MA 02043-4306. The United States Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) constructed a new Office of Information and Technology Center (OIT) facility on the federally owned VA Medical Center campus in Martinsburg, WV. The facility is a single story building, approximately 66,300 gross square feet in size. The facility includes office space, mechanical space and a 10,000 square foot Data Center. The contractor shall provide all supervision, management, labor, resources, materials, supplies and equipment to provide for a complete job to inspect and maintain the proprietary Generator Gear/ATS system. All preventive maintenance will be performed without interfering with the continued operations of the CRRC and in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. This action will result in a Firm Fixed Price contract with an intended Period of Performance of one base year and two option years. This Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract IS NOT a request for competitive proposals. There will be no RFQ available for competitive proposals. Phone calls will not be accepted. Interested parties may express their interest and provide a Capability Statement to the Contract Specialist via email at LeAnna.Stith@va.gov no later than 10:00AM 18 September 2013.
