- U S Naval Hospital, Guam intends to award a Firm Fixed Price sole source contract with Haemonetics Corporation, 400 Wood Road, Braintree, MA 02184-9114. Haemonetics is the manufacturer / distributor of P/N: 0236-00 De-Glycerolization Kits Large B @ 12 Cases; P/N: 0235-00 De-Glycerolization Kits Small B @ 2 Cases; P/N: 0462A-00 AS-3 300 ml Solution @ 12 Cases; PN: 050222-00 Thermal Paper @ 4 Each and PN: 994CF-CPP Platelet Collection Disposable @ 24 Cases. These FDA approval supplied support our hospital's ACP 215 Automatic De-Glycerolization System in the Laboratory Dept under the Blood Bank Program. Period of Performance: 01 October 2013 through 30 September 2014. This Special Notice is issued in accordance with FAR 13 Simplified Acquisition. This notice is not considered as a Request for Price Quote (RFQ). A response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition will be in the best interest of the Government. The Government reserves the right to execute an award without publishing a solicitation. Determination not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government.
