The equipment we have is compatible to other Pitney Bowes equipment in the mailroom. Replacing or changing any of this equipment at this time would require replacement of other current equipment in the mailroom as well, which could cause a disruption in the mail processing system for the Trademark Organization, as well as additional costs for new equipment and time constraints. It is vital to have integrated continuity of services for this equipment with one vendor, as opposed to having multiple vendors maintain separate pieces of equipment, which may disrupt the overall workflow at our mailroom should there miscommunications or conflicts with different maintenance agreements. Vendors, especially small business vendors, that are authorized resellers of Pitney Bowes equipment and maintenance and who can provide proof of reseller authorization/authorization to service equipment from Pitney Bowes and rent exact model/serial number of postage meters above, are invited to submit information establishing a bona fide capability to fulfill this requirement. If the USPTO OP does not identify other acceptable sources capable of providing this requirement, the USPTO will solicit a quotation and issue a sole source award to Pitney Bowes. This is not a Request for Quotations and the Government does not intend to pay for information submitted. Respondents will be notified of the results of the information submitted.
