Description

Sole Source Letter The 802d Contracting Squadron, Joint Base San Antonio, Lackland, TX intends to award a purchase order to Parachute Drop Bags (23 EA)(Part #PDB-SPR/DR-V2-W/MHW-COY-COY). The 342 TRS procurement consists of equipment from Eagle Industries. Currently, they are the sole source makers of the Parachute Drop Bag (PDB) authorized for use IAW AFMAN 11-411, Special Forces Military Freefall Operations, The PDB is attached to the Parachutist during jump operations as a container to hold military gear. This PDB is also referenced on the Authorized for Use list. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within ten days after date of publication of this notice. No solicitation or request for quote is available. Other interested Businesses may submit their qualifications and price list to Montgomery Manning, montgomery.manning@us.af.mil.
