N6572613T0169RFQ 13-0148_LSJ This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items/services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice, and using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; competitive quotes are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. SYNOPSIS NOTES: NOTE 22: THE PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION IS FOR SUPPLIES OR SERVICES FOR WHICH THE GOVERNMENT INTENDS TO SOLICIT AND NEGOTIATE WITH ONLY ONE SOURCE UNDER AUTHORITY OF FAR 6.001(a). INTERESTED PARTIES MAY IDENTIFY THEIR INTEREST AND CAPABILITY TO RESPOND TO THE REQUIREMENT OR SUBMIT QUOTES. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. HOWEVER, ALL QUOTES RECEIVED BY THE CLOSING DATE OF THIS POSTING WILL BE CONSIDERED BY THE GOVERNMENT. A DETERMINATION BY THE GOVERNMENT NOT TO COMPETE THIS PROPOSED CONTRACT BASED UPON RESPONSES TO THIS NOTICE, IS SOLELY WITHIN THE DISCRETION OF THE GOVERNMENT. INFORMATION RECEIVED WILL NORMALLY BE CONSIDERED SOLELY FOR THE PURPOSE OF DETERMINING WHETHER TO CONDUCT A COMPETITIVE PROCUREMENT IN THE FUTURE. The solicitation number is N65726-13-T-0148, N65726-13-T-0148, and the solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This requirement is for the renewal of HP Fortify Software Maintenance NAVSEA LOGISTICS CENTER - MAYPORT, Jacksonville, FL. Line Item 0001 is as follows: DESCRIPTION: HP FSCA B2O SE SW E-LTU HP Support and Updates 9X5; QUANTITY: 1 EA; Line Item 0002 is as follows: DESCRIPTION: HP FSCA B2O Power User SW E-LTU HP Support and Updates 9X5; QUANTITY: 1 EA; Line Item 0003 is as follows: DESCRIPTION HP Fortify 3.10 Eng SW E-Media; Quantity: 1 EA.. THIS TASK SHALL HAVE PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE OF TWELVE MONTHS FROM 29 SEPTEMBER 2013 TO 28 SEPTEMBER 2014. The provision FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Contractors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition.
