Description

The US Army Medical Command Northern Region Contracting Office, Fort Knox, KY intends to solicit, negotiate and award a purchase order pursuant to the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) on a sole source basis to Arthrex Inc., 1370 Creekside Blvd., Naples, FL 34108-1945, for one set Arthroscopic Surgical Shoulder Set, Vendor Part Number: SHOULDER SET, for the Operating Room at Ireland Army Community Hospital, Fort Knox, Kentucky. This requirement will be procured in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 13, using simplified acquisition procedures. NAICS code is 423450, size standard is 100 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the Agency. Offerors certain they can meet the requirement may submit in writing an affirmative response and statement of technical capabilities along with their quotation. All written responses must include a written narrative statement of capability, including detailed technical information demonstrating their ability to meet the above requirement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to the notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Affirmative written response must be received no later than 26 September 2013 at 1400 EST.
