Description

RECOVERY - THE SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION (SSA) WILL FUND THE PROPOSED ACTION IN WHOLE VIA THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 (PUB. L. 111-5) (RECOVERY ACT). THE AGENCY PROVIDES THIS NOTICE "FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY." The proposed action is only available to one of SSA's existing Information Technology Support Services Contractor (ITSS), Computer Science Corporation, under a pre-existing agency-wide Indefinite-deliver, Indefinite-quantity Contract, Number SS00-10-60107. The SSA intends to issue a time-and-material task order for services related to the following two specific technical areas within the contract: -(6) Software Engineering and Technology [Subtask for Performance/Capacity Planning -(9) Systems Administration for Z/Os, Unix, Windows, and WebSphere [Subtask for OTSO/OIAC Support] SSA anticipates issuing a time-and-materials Task Order (i.e. 0004) to the contractor under the ITSSC contract following FAR 12.207 and the ordering procedures of FAR 16.505. The task order is anticiapted to be issued on or before September 28, 2013, and have a full period of performance from September 29, 2013 through September 28, 2014. This notice is for "Informational purposes only."
