The Academy's goal is to replace the aging High Temperature Hot Water (HTHW) piping system in separate stages. The HTHW system requires supply and return piping for each loop. The cadet area is fed by one loop, the hospital is fed by a different loop and the community center has its own loop. This project will focus on the first part on the community center loop, the project will replace the piping and related systems from the heat plant to the new piping near the Falcon Club. Some of the piping system is located in shallow concrete trenches and some of the piping is direct buried. Some of the current piping will be left in place and receive new support systems and new insulation. Some sections will be completely removed and replaced.
