- This is an intended sole source announcement. Space and Naval Warfare Center Atlantic (SPAWAR Atlantic), Code 2.2.3.3, intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order to Genesis Fiber Optic Splicing, Inc. to provide telecommunication services necessary to integrate numerous building into a common optical network enabling centralized monitoring and control of environmental equipment. This project is located at Naval Support Activity Camp Allen. Services are in accordance with the attached Statement of Work for the products listed below under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This synopsis is posted for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive offers. No electronic or hard copy Request For Quote (RFQ) will be prepared or made available for distribution. This action will be conducted under FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13. NAICS is 541990. System for Award Management registration is required for all vendors doing business with the Department of Defense. Quotes are due to the Contract Specialist, Victoria Franklin at victoria.franklin@navy.mil by 9:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time, 14 November 2013. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
