- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). Solicitation number is RFP0406NB140021,100% small business set-aside. The Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-70. This acquisition is being conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 621511, Medical Laboratories. The small business size standard is $ 30 million. In order for contractors to conduct business with Federal Bureau of Prisons, FCC Florence, the contractor must provide registration information to System for Award Management (SAM) website http://www/sam.gov. The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex (FCC), 5880 State Highway 67 South, Florence, Colorado, 81226, announce a requirement to procure supplemental laboratory testing services. The purpose of this requirement is the Contractor shall provide laboratory testing on the test list which are listed in the Statement of Wok (SOW). The Contractor must be accredited by the College of American Pathologist or joint Commission; or be under the Clinical Laboratory Improvement ACT of 1988, and shall maintain accreditation/ licensure for the period of the contract. The provision at 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors Commercial, applies to this acquisition.
