- **11/14/13 Change: The presolicitation number for this requirement has now changed to W911SA-13-B-0001. Please see the new pre-solicitation notice for updated details on this future project.*** Prepare surface and apply slurry seal to all areas indicated on the delivery order documents. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, material, supplies, signage, traffic control, and other incidentals necessary to provide a Slurry Seal. Slurry Seal shall consist of a mixture of an approved emulsified asphalt, mineral aggregate, water, and specified additives, proportioned, mixed and uniformly spread over a properly prepared asphalt surface. The completed Slurry Seal shall leave a homogeneous mat, adhere firmly to the prepared surface, and have a skid-resistant surface texture throughout its service life. The Contractor shall submit a site-specific safety plan and activity hazard analysis to the Contracting Officer and both shall be approved prior to any work commencing. All work, operations, and activities shall comply with all appropriate OSHA and USACOE EM 385-1-1 regulations and standards pertaining to the type of work being performed. REMOVAL WORK: Remove all items indicated on the drawings and in the specifications and dispose of off post at the Contractor's expense including but not limited to: 1. Removal work associated with patching. NEW WORK: Perform the work under this contract including but not limited to: 1. Clean, route, and seal cracks in asphalt and concrete pavements. 2. Prepare roads, parking lots, and other pavements identified for Slurry Seal. 3. Perform shallow depth and/or full depth pavement patching at locations designated on the delivery order. 4. Install pavement marking, parking lot markings, and paint symbols. REPAIR WORK: Contractor shall repair any damages caused by this construction, including but not limited to: 1. Repair any damaged existing construction or property. 2. Repair any landscaping including trees, shrubs, flowers, and grass. 3. Repair vehicle ruts. Level the ruts, place topsoil, and seed the disturbed areas according to the specifications.
