- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The 319th Contracting Flight at Grand Forks AFB, ND is conducting market research to determine the existence of companies that can perform the following: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform refuse and recycling services at Grand Forks Air Force Base (AFB) North Dakota. The Government anticipates award of a firm fixed price contract with a period of performance of a base year and four (4) subsequent option years. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 562111, and the small business size standard is $35.5M. Any interested and qualified sources are requested to provide a brief capabilities statement and letter of interest to Christopher Klaassen via email to christopher.klaassen@us.af.mil. As part of your capability statement please include any current or past contracts you have been awarded or the ability to obtain sufficient proof of capability for this type of contract. Also include point of contact information (e-mail address, phone number and name). In addition, include what socio-economic category your company qualifies as (i.e. a Small Business, SBA Certified HUB Zone Firm, SBA Certified Small Disadvantaged Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned, Veteran Owned Business, Woman Owned Business). IF ADEQUATE RESPONSES ARE NOT RECEIVED FROM ANY OF THE ABOVE MENTIONED CONCERNS, THE ACQUISITION MAY BE SOLICITED ON AN UNRESTRICTED BASIS. Any information provided is strictly voluntary. The government will not pay for information submitted in response to this Sources Sought Notice. To be considered in this research, please provide the information above not later than 4:00 p.m. CST on 29 Nov 13.
