- Ocean City Inlet Channel Seawall Repairs, Ocean City, Worcester County, Maryland. The proposed procurement is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) construction contract. This proposed procurement is 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside, NAICS 238110, Size Standard is $14 Million. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. The solicitation will be posted on or about December 16, 2013. It is the Government's intent to solicit and award one contract for repairs to the concrete seawall along the north side of the inlet channel at Ocean City, Maryland. Repairs consists of surface preparation of the existing concrete, and repairs to distressed areas using a specialty mix of shotcrete materials, with appropriate reinforcing, finishing and curing. Distressed areas total approximately 1000 square feet of wall surface. Anticipated thickness of shotcrete repairs ranges from 3" to 12". The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment and supplies required to make repairs to the seawall. Work will occur in a marine environment. The work shall be completed within 60 days of award. The magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000. This is a construction project. All contractor employees working at the project must possess a social security card. Employees must be either a U.S. citizen, green card holder, or in possession of a workers permit. These requirements with no exceptions must be met to be granted access to work on any Government project. It would be a benefit to the offeror to have engineering and construction personnel familiar with USACE standards and practices for military construction projects. Additional information in accordance with the statement of work is included in the request bid package.
