- This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of all qualified Small Business Administration (SBA) businesses to include : certified: 8(a), HUBZone and Service Disabled Veteran-Owned, women owned small business firms relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS)561720 Janitorial Services. The U.S. Army Garrison, West Point, NY is seeking sources to provide all necessary labor and equipment under the terms of a BPA. This document, identified as a Blanket Purchase Agreement, establishes a charge account with your firm to furnish all labor, materials, vehicles, equipment and supervision necessary to provide Post Wide clean-up due to spills, sewage and floods of all types. This includes but is not limited to clean up/pumping of waste water, flood waters, rugs, walls ceilings, vents, ducts, grates or other areas affected by or caused by heavy rains, flooding due to burst pipes (sewer and domestic water, hurricanes /storms, weather related flooding and dirt. Work to further include the removal of dirt, sewage, debris, mop floors, wash walls, apply anti-microbial agent to sanitize affected areas as required or needed. The work will be performed at the United States Army Garrison, West Point (USAG-WP), New York, including the outlying reservation, and 2nd Aviation Detachment located at Stewart International Airport, New Windsor, New York, 12553 and when requested by the Contracting Officer or his authorized representatives, and shall remain in full force and effect from date of award through 31 December 2016 unless terminated sooner by either party. Interested sources are requested to submit an email showing how they can meet the existing requirement. Sources must sufficiently demonstrate the capability to perform these services and must provide detailed experience and qualifications in all previous work pertinent to this effort. This is not a Request for Proposal or an announcement of a solicitation. Your responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submittals will not be returned to the sender. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is (NAICS) 561720 Janitorial Services. The small business size standard is 16.5 Million Dollars. Responses due are to be submitted by e-mail to DAVID.ARIOSTO@us.army.mil. The information requested must be received no later than 1 PM Eastern Time on 10 December 2013.
