GSA has issued e-Buy Request for Quotation (RFQ) 837610 on November 27, 2013 under GSA's Federal Supply Schedule (FSS)contract, Schedule 70, Category/Special Item Number (SIN) 132.8 Purchase of New Equipment, available electronically only through e-Buy, GSA's e-Business RFQ acquisition system at www.ebuy.gsa.gov. In compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.2 Synopses of proposed Contract Actions, this announcements identify this RFQ solicitation has been posed because one (1) or more technical solutions may require the procurement of ancillary products or material not currently available on current Federal Supply Schedules (FSS) This notice in full compliance with FAR 8.402(f), General which states "For administrative convenience a contracting officer may add items not on a federal supply schedule (also referred to as open market items) to a Federal Supply Schedule Blanket Purchase agreement or an individual task order."
