- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: This PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE is to announce the U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI) United States Geological Survey Center (USGS) intent to issue a solicitation for the acquisition of a water system storage tank and tower construction at the Columbia Environmental Research Center, 4200 New Haven Road Columbia MO 65201 USA. It is anticipated that a solicitation will be issued through the Government-wide Point of Entry (GPE) on or about February 17, 2015, with proposals being due approximately 30 days thereafter. The solicitation will be issued as a small business set-aside. Interested parties are expected to upload the solicitation and any subsequent amendments from the website and to monitor the status of the solicitation. All responsible Small Business sources may submit a proposal. The applicable NAICS, 237110 Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction, has a Small Business Size Standard $36.5M. This is a Pre-solicitation; solicitation documents cannot be uploaded at this time. Project Description: The construction services will include surface clearing and excavation, concrete slab, procurement and installation of a 75,000 gallon water tank as outlined in the architect/engineer provided specifications and drawings. In accordance with FAR 36.204 Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects, the estimated price for the base building roof and the two optional building roofs is described as between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Your company must have a DUNs number and be registered on-line at the System for Acquisition Management (SAM) www.sam.gov. This is NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP) and does not constitute any commitment by the Government. The actual solicitation, if any, will be advertised at www.fbo.gov.
