- Statement of Work National Cardiac Device Surveillance Program Scope and Purpose: The contractor will provide programming support for the National Cardiac Device Surveillance Program (NCDSP) secure Web application (https://icdpm.sanfrancisco.med.va). This interactive VA Web application (referred here as Web Portal) is used by the Program staff and VA clinicians from 125 VA medical facilities in remote monitoring of pacemakers, ICD and CRT devices. Under the direction of NCDSP Director, the contractor will maintain and upgrade the structure and functionalities of the proprietary Web Portal. The Contractor will work with Medtronic Paceart Optima technical team to ensure a seamless and optimal bi-directional interphase with the Medtronic Paceart Optima SQL database under an established contract between San Francisco VAMC/NCDSP and Medtronic. The contractor will provide on-demand Structural Query Language (SQL) programming to modify and update the VA Web Portal to meet operational requirements. These include, but not limited to, device registration and tracking, processing of data (device and patients demographic data and appointment schedules), posting remote transmission reports on the Web Portal, and management of devices under manufacturer safety alerts and FDA recalls. The contractor will work with the information specialist based in the Washington DC office of NCDSP to maintain and upgrade Program software applications. The contractor will recompile the Web portal application with.net frame work 4.5 and relocate it to a physical server with Windows 2008 server operating system. Background Investigation-the level of background investigation commensurate with the required level of access for this requirement is: NACI (National Advisory Council on Innovations).
