Description
This is a sources sought notice to determine the availability of 8a small business sources capable of providing court reporting services to the Navy Bureau of Medicine (BUMED) Office of General Counsel (OGC), Falls Church, VA (hereafter referred to as BUMED OGC). BUMED OGC requires a contractor to perform court reporting and video services to include deposition rooms, transcripts, compact discs (CDs), electronic copy of transcripts and Digital Versatile Disc (DVD) for depositions, and related proceedings held in the continental United States (CONUS) by the United States Navy, OGC, or BUMED in support of legal actions in Federal court, State court, the Merit Systems Protection Board, Equal Employment Opportunity commission, the Federal labor Relations Authority, and other administrative forums. The contractor will occasionally arrange for court reporting and video services, as described above, for depositions and related proceedings held in Naples or Sigonella, Italy; Agana Heights, Guam; Okinawa or Yokosuka, Japan; Cairo, Egypt; Lima, Peru; and Rota or Cadiz, Spain. The contractor will need to be flexible to work with frequent schedule changes by judges. A SECRET level security clearance is required for each contractor, employee, reporter, and subcontractor involved in processing classified proceedings. To ensure that proper safeguards will be provided when classified materials or subjects are involved, the contractor shall comply with any required security checks concerning the contractor, employees, subcontractors, and employees of subcontractors. A single-award firm fixed price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract is anticipated that will consist of a five year ordering period. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 561492 and the standard is $15 million. Quoters possessing the requisite skills, resources and capabilities necessary to perform the stated requirement are invited to respond to this sources sought notice via the submission of a Capabilities Statement, no more than three (3) pages in length. Responses must use no smaller than ten point (10pt) Times New Roman font. Paraphrasing of the Source Sought Notice will not be considered sufficient to demonstrate the capabilities of an interested party. The submission should also include the following information: 1) company name, address, and point of contact with corresponding phone number and e-mail address, and 2) DUNS number and/or CAGE code, business size and classification.
