Description

FBO NOTICE OF AWARD DUE TO SOLE SOURCE This announcement is to provide notification of the Department of Veterans Affairs intent to enter into a sole source purchase order via NAC Contract V797P-6019B with General Electric Co., 3000 N Grandview Blvd., W443 Waukesha, WI 53188, DUNS Number: 073838534. GE provides this service using the following North American Classification System (NAICS) code: 811219. This procurement involves licensed, proprietary software, software upgrades and proprietary passwords. Any interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities to respond to the requirement, and should furnish detailed data concerning their capabilities to provide service and maintenance and software upgrades. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements must provide written notification to the Contracting Officer by Wednesday, January 12, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. EST. Information should be sent to Scott Morrison, Contracting Officer, at scott.morrison2@va.gov. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
