Description
The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) in Senegal is pleased to announce the award of the Resilience and Economic Growth in the Sahel - Accelerated Growth (REGIS-AG) Request for Proposal (RFP) No. SOL-685-13-000005. 1. The number of offerors solicited : The solicitation was posted on Fedbizopps on March 15, 2013 for a full-and open competition. 2. The number of proposals received: 7 proposals were received. 3. The name and address of offeror receiving the award: Citizens Network for Foreign Affairs ( CNFA) 1828 L Street NW, Suite 710 Washington, DC 20036 4. The items, quantities, and any stated unit price of the award: Total estimated cost plus fixed fee: $ 34,390,909 5. Basis for selection: The decision to award to the above named firm was based on a thorough review of the revised submitted technical and cost proposals. The technical strength of offeror's higher rated technical proposals does not merit the Government paying a price premium for those strengths because selected offeror's proposal is also strong technically and is able to fulfill the requirements of the RFP. As a result, the award was made to the offeror whose proposal offered the best value to the Government, both technical and cost factors considered.
