Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to issue a solicitation to Huntington Ingalls Industries, Ingalls Shipbuilding (Ingalls), 1000 Access Road, Pascagoula, MS 39567 for the advanced procurement of long lead-time material (LLTM) for the LPD 28 Amphibious Transport Docking ship on a sole source basis. RFP N00024-15-R-2431 will be issued for the LPD 28 LLTM. Ingalls is the only source with the requisite knowledge and experience required to procure LLTM in support of construction of this San Antonio (LPD 17) Class ship. This notification is issued for subcontracting purposes only. See Numbered Note 22 *****
