- The US Department of State, Regional Procurement Support Office (RPSO) in Fort Lauderdale, intends to solicit offers for the commercial items and services described below in support of the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) in Mexico. SETEC Information Technology and Communications Infrastructure Project Work under this project supports the Government of Mexico's transition from an inquisitorial to an accusatorial legal system. Places of performance (subject to change) extend to approximately 16 states in Mexico. The contractor will be required to provide, deliver, install, integrate, and test a variety of communications equipment and IT hardware and software. Contractor will be solely responsible for all logistics and will likely provide training to host country personnel. All equipment must be provided with two years of on-site warranty. Required components of the solution will likely include: •Application servers and switches to support LAN (Local Area Network); •Desktop Workstations (or thin clients) for courthouse support personnel and related agencies; •Kiosk with keyboard for public inquiries and court schedules; •Multi-function network printer; and •Operating System, Database Administration, and Virtualization software The magnitude and scope of the work to be performed is preliminary in nature and subject to change. Actual requirements will be stated in the formal solicitation. The solicitation will be set-aside exclusively for HUBZone small business concerns. Offers from other than HUBZone small business concerns will not be considered for award. The acquisition will be conducted under NAICS code 541519 (Information Technology Value Added Resellers) with a corresponding small business size standard of 150 employees. Offers will be evaluated on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis. Projected Date for Issuance of Draft Solicitation on FBO: February 2015 Projected Date for Issuance of Solicitation on FBO: March 2015 Projected Date for Receipt of Offers: Approximately 3 weeks after release of solicitation Dates are subject to change. Interested vendors should monitor FBO. To be eligible for award, a prospective contractor must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM). The solicitation will require all offers to be uploaded directly to FBO. No other method of submission will be acceptable. Offer submission through FBO requires an active user name and password.
