Description

Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 9 (NCO 9) intends to award a sole source contract award to Carefusion, Inc., 22745 Savi Ranch Pkwy, Yorba Linda, CA 92887. This requirement is for Carefusion IV Pump Parts replacement services located at VAMC Lexington, KY. Specifically for Carefusion ALARIS PC UNIT Model# 8015, ALARIS PUMP MODULE Model# 8100, Model# 8300 CO2 module, and Model# ALARIS PCA MODULE 8120. This is for a return and repair of existing components, NOT replacement pumps. The contractor shall provide parts in accordance with the Conformation Standards Section. Telephone support shall be provided to diagnose and correct equipment malfunctions. All field replaceable parts will be provided to the in-house Biomed staff. A limited number of common parts will be positioned at the VAMC Lexington to allow immediate repairs. Repairs that cannot be made in the field will be repaired by the contractor at no additional charge. Repair service may include sending to contractor for major repairs. All required parts will be furnished by the vendor. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by February 18th, 2015, 12:00 p.m. (ET). Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to dustin.epperson@va.gov. Telephone requests or inquires will not be accepted.
