- This pre-solicitation notice is provided for informational purposes and is not to be considered a request for proposal (RFP). This pre-solicitation notice is to inform potential offerors of an upcoming requirement for Micro Focus Application Server software maintenance renewal for Net Express production and licenses; including support, software upgrades and defect/error reporting an error. Net Express is to support the Naval Depot Maintenance Systems (NDMS) Time and Attendance (TAA) applications to ensure continuity and compatibility with the existing software and to obtain the most current version If interested, please request the DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS) for this requirement from the POC below. The standard annual Silver Support Services Agreement for Micro Focus - Application Server for Net Express licenses is required in order to maintain the operational viability for software development users and to comply with Navy Functional Area Manager (FAM) policy to maintain currency of software support agreements. The Micro Focus Silver (standard) Support Services Agreement provisions include: Dedicated technical engineers contactable by telephone Web reporting and tracking of product incidents Timely and effective solutions to any issues or incidents that may arise, based on the severity of the incident Access to a wealth of technical resources, including oThe Micro Focus Knowledge Base - a growing, searchable database of technical articles, problem resolutions, and advice oDemonstrations oSample utilities oInformation on product update releases Free access to all product updates including the latest software corrections Email notification of any product updated or upgrades Comprehensive support for the current and one previous version of Micro Focus software. The standard Micro Focus support (Silver Level) terms and conditions shall apply to this contract, which includes support services (24 hours/7days a week/365 days a year), updates, and defect/error reporting an error. It is the Government's intent to award a single Firm-Fixed-Fee type contract, period of performance will be a 12-month base year with two 12-month option periods. The eventual RFP will be solicited based on Other than Full and Open competition, and further, will be evaluated on a Lowest Price, Technically Acceptable (LPTA) Selection basis, as the criteria will be set forth in the RFP The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this acquisition is 511210. Interested contractors must obtain a DUNS number and register in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to transact business with the Government.
