- The 45th Contracting Squadron, Patrick AFB, FL announces the anticipated release of an Invitation for Bid (IFB) to Repair Cathodic Protection Systerm, Waiste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP), Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (CCAFS) FL. The requirement is to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to install new and replace both rectifiers and both anode beds at the regional WWTP on CCAFS. Make repairs on all CP test stations. Repair cathodic protection for all ductile iron pipe between the west valve risers and the entrance road as well as the inlet/outlet piping from the North and South digesters and install CP Bond Test Boxes as shown. Replace cathodic protection for the North and South clarifiers, as well as the North digester. Upgrade fire protection piping to ensure proper isolation and install additional galvanic anodes as necessary to satisfy established cathodic protection criteria. All work shall be as indicated in project Drawings and Specifications. The Period of Performance for this requirement is 90 Calendar days. The construction magnitude is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. The IFB will be issued on or around March 2 nd, 2015, with bid closing date on or around April 1 st, 2015. *****NOTICE TO OFFERORS: FUNDS ARE NOT PRESENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS PROJECT. NO AWARD WILL BE MADE UNTIL FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE TO MAKE PAYMENTS UNDER A CONTRACT. THE GOVERNMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THIS SOLICITATION, EITHER BEFORE OR AFTER IFB CLOSING, WITH NO OBLIGATION TO TO REIMBURSE AN OFFEROR FOR ANY COSTS.
