Description

RECOVERY - THE SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION (SSA) WILL FUND THE PROPOSED ACTION IN WHOLE VIA THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 (PUB. L. 111-5) (RECOVERY ACT). THE AGENCY PROVIDES THIS NOTICE "FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY." The proposed action is only available to one of SSA's existing Information Technology Support Services Contractor (ITSS), Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation, under a pre-existing agency-wide Indefinite-delivery, Indefinite-quantity Contract, Number SS00-10-60082. SSA intends to issue a time-and-material task order for services related to the technical area (8), Software Engineering Management, within the contract. SSA anticipates issuing a time-and-materials Task Order (i.e. 0023) to the contractor under the ITSSC contract, following FAR 12.207 and the ordering procedures of FAR 16.505. The task order is anticipated to be issued on or before February 13, 2015, and have a period of performance from February 17, 2015 through August 14, 2015. This notice is for "Informational purposes only."
