- 15RJQ92_syn N00164-15-R-JQ92 - Gemini X-Ray Baggage Scanner (XRBS) annual preventative maintenance and repairs. - NAICS 334516 - FSC 6665 Issue Date 25 FEB 2015 - Closing Date 18 MAR 2015 - Time 02:00 PM EST Solicitation number N00164-15-R-JQ92 will be issued as a request for proposals on a Sole Source basis. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be published to the Government Point of Entry (this website, listed below) on or about February 25, 2015, and anticipated that proposal(s) will be due by no later than 2:00 PM (EST) 18 March 2015. This solicitation is being posted to Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/. FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet. Please feel free to use the FBO site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. The Government requires annual preventative maintenance and repairs for the Gemini X-Ray Baggage Scanner (XRBS). The ordering period is 5 years with a minimum quantity of 1 each and a maximum quantity of 35 each for the annual preventative maintenance Gemini XRBS. The anticipated contract type is a firm fixed price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity. The delivery shall be FOB destination, NSWC-Crane, 300 Highway 362, Crane, IN 47522-5001. An Initial delivery of 1 unit will be required within 12 months of award. Any subsequent orders will require deliveries to commence 12 months after the effective date of the order. This requirement will be negotiated on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source." Once available, interested parties can download the solicitation from the website listed above. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. Reference the above solicitation number when responding to this notice. The solicitation attachments will be posted to the FBO website concurrently with the solicitation. The Contractor must be properly registered in the Government System for Award Management database (SAM) in order to receive the solicitation attachments. To be eligible for award, contractors must be properly registered in the Government System for Award Management database (SAM). Offerors may obtain information on SAM registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-866-606-8220, or via the Internet at www.sam.gov RFPs are in portable document format (PDF). No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. Interested sources must download from the www site listed. To download and view these documents, you will need the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. This software is available free at http://www.adobe.com. Offers must be submitted in the format specified in the solicitation to be considered.
