Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) Contracting Office, Cibola, New Mexico is seeking quotes from sources having the ability to provide community-based outpatient substance abuse treatment services and mental health treatment services. The location where services are to be provided should be with a vendor located within a ten (10) mile radius of the Federal Court House located at 100 East Vine St., Lexington, KY 40507 and accessible to local public transportation. The location must me located within a.5 mile walk from community based transportation. This requirement will ensure that accountability is maintained and inmates will not have long commutes to the treatment center, reduce inmate transportation cost and ensue that public transportation is available for inmates who are responsible for their transportation to and from treatment appointments. Performance periods under this contract will be for a one-year base period estimated to begin on May 1, 2015 with four (4) one-year option periods, with services ending (if all option years are exercised) on April 30, 2020. The services required for this contract include a Base Year, Option Year One, Option Year Two, Option Year Three and Option Year Four, respectively. Base Year: Estimated number of inmates 60: Substance Abuse Intake Assessment & Report - 1 each (per inmate) x 40 inmates = 40 each Substance Abuse Individual Counseling - (30 minutes = 1 session) - 24 sessions (per inmate) x 40 inmates = 960 sessions Substance Abuse Group Counseling - (30 minutes = 1 session) - 72 sessions (per inmate) x 40 inmates = 2880 sessions Family Counseling - (30 minutes = 1 session) - 24 sessions (per inmate) x 40 inmates = 960 session Client Transportation - (unlimited day) - 36 each (per inmate) x 60 inmates = 2,160 each Mental Health Intake Assessment & Report - 1 each (per inmate) x 20 inmates = 15 each Mental Health Individual Counseling - (30 minutes = 1 session) - No Master's Required) Revision 01, April 2013, PSB. The request for quotation will be available on or after March 4, 2015 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities web site http: //www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the quotation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including quotation amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date is on or about April 6, 2015. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The BOP anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price contract.
