Description

This is a synopsis/pre-solicitation notice for commercial supplies. It is intended to award a Firm Fixed Priced (FFP) contract to Mathworks, Inc. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) has established a requirement for renewal subscription maintenance for (Matlab Software- 12 month renewal), as well as renewal of (Matlab Toolboxes- 12 month renewal) for the West Bethesda office. The Government intends to negotiate a non-competitive procurement with Mathworks, Inc., 3 Apple Hill Drive Natick, MA 01760. The contractor, Mathworks will provide maintenance of Matlab software and various Matlab toolboxes. Award of a firm-fixed price purchase order is anticipated under Simplified Acquisition procedures. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes however all responsible sources submitting quotes within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis shall be considered by the agency. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database to be considered for award.
