Description
This is a pre-solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is VA260-15-Q-0170, and is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ), unless otherwise indicated herein. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 621512 with a small business size standard of $32.5 Million. This requirement shall be competed on the Open Market, and shall be set-aside for small businesses. Only qualified offerors may submit quotes. The description of the required services is below: The VA Portland Health Care System requires an annual radiological survey service to meet annual requirement of ionizing radiology equipment, nuclear medicine equipment, CT, MRI, etc., per Joint Commission standards, ACR, and CFR, etc. Additional work that is required includes training and mentoring the Portland VA Radiation Safety Officer (RSO), documenting radiological testing experience in the clinical radiological environment and surveys of Rad/Flouro, Dental X-ray, C-Arms, O-Arms, Angiography suites, portable x-ray units and MRI equipment. The equipment is located at the Portland OR VA campus, Vancouver WA VA campus, Hillsboro OR CBOC, and Salem OR CBOC. Additional tasks include collaborating with the Portland VA Medical Center RSO to discuss, plan, improve, and implement the Quality Control and Quality Assurance programs for CT and MRI, at the Portland VA Medical Center, as required by the Joint Commission.
