Description

The VA Great Lakes Acquisition Center intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Hologic, Inc for one (1) Myosure Control Unit, two (2) XL Rod Lenses, and one (1) Aquilex Fluid Control System for the William S Middleton VAH in Madison, WI. This equipment is used for the visualization and treatment of various uterine disorders. This procurement is being conducted in accordance FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes or proposals. No solicitations documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements it must furnish information about its products and services to the Contract Specialist by 2:00PM (CST) February 13, 2015. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information must be sent electronically to the Contract Specialist using the email address benjamin.woodford@va.gov. Responses received before the deadline will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the GLAC will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Hologic, Inc.
