Description
The purpose of this RFI is to conduct market research which will be used to formulate an acquisition strategy to assist in the reduction of long term health and psychological care concerns, it's critical to offer an evidence-based, standardized modality of treatment for Marines and families. Motivational Interviewing (MI) training will serve as a vehicle to elevate the skill set of substance abuse counseling staff worldwide. This requirement is in support of The Substance Abuse Program, Behavioral Health Branch, Marine and Family Programs Division, Manpower and Reserve Affairs, Headquarters, United States Marine Corps. This RFI allows potential contractors to submit a non-binding statement of interest and documentation demonstrating their corporate capabilities and suggestions that will allow the Government to refine its potential course of action. The RFI effort is intended to assess industry service capabilities and solicit feedback for acquisition planning purposes. The Regional Contracting Office, National Capital Region (RCO-NCR) is requesting responses from qualified businesses concerns. The qualifying NAICS code for this effort is T336992. Requirement The contractor shall provide manuals and Motivational Interviewing (MI) training to Marine Corps Substance Abuse counselors, supervisors, directors and subject matter experts and additional behavioral health provider as follows: MI level I Trading: MI Level I: 2 days, 20 participants, 1 trainer, two times between award of contract and 30 Sept 2015. MI Level I: 2 days, 40 participants, 2 trainers one time between award of contract and 30 Sept 2015. MI Level II Training: MI Level II: 2 days. 40 participants, 2 trainers, three times between award of contract and 30 Sept 2015 MITI Coding Training: MITI Coding: 2 days, 20 participants, 2 trainers, two times between award of contract and 30 Sept 2015. Deliverables The contractor shall participate in an initial meeting coordinated by the Contracting Officer Representative to discuss coordinated by the Contracting Officer Representative to discuss logistics, identify dates and locations of training, identify designated trainers(s), obtain mailing addresses for shipping of training materials, and review the contract and deliverables. The contractor shall provide training on Motivational Interviewing training competencies, and techniques as discussed in paragraph 2 above. The contractor shall provide course material in hard copy format, to be mailed to identified United States locations, two weeks prior to the first agreed upon training date. The contractor will provide certificates for MI Level I - 14 hours (1.5 credits in the Internal Association for Continuing Educational and Training (IACET nomenclature) education units that can be applied toward credentialing of licensed and certified behavioral health clinicians for each attendee of the trainings.
