Description

Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System, (SLVHCS), 1601 Perdido Street, New Orleans, LA 70112 requires a contract to provide services as part of its Community Based Health Care Substance Abuse Treatment Program (SATP) for Veterans and intends to enter into a sole source contract with Gateway Recovery LLC. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The requirement is for the period from March 15, 2015 through September 30, 2015. The anticipated date of award is March 12, 2015. The requirement is to provide residential treatment for the thirty-six (36) homeless and Substance Abuse (SA) veterans that are currently participating in a 2 year treatment program at Gateway Recovery LLC. This requirement will allow these veterans to continue their treatment program without interruptions. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 621420 applies; size standard is $15M. This information is only used for classification purposes in the representation and certification portion of the Request for Proposal (RFP). THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will consider all responses to this notice by 4:00 p.m. (CST) March 5, 2015. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses must be in writing to the Contracting Officer. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to receive a contract award. Contractors may access the SAM website at: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/
