Description

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with U Street Parking (USP), 50 Rhode Island Ave, NE, Suite #100, Washington, DC 20002, under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) and FAR 6.302-1. The NRC requires USP to provide 150 garage parking spaces to accommodate parking for NRC employees working at 21 Church Street, Rockville, Maryland 20852. USP is the only provider of parking spaces for this building. This requirement includes a nine month base period. This notice of intent is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers; however, all responsible sources may submit written capability statements which shall be considered by the agency. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Interested sources must submit detailed technical capabilities and any other information that demonstrates their ability to meet the requirements above, no later than Wednesday, March 4, 2015. Telephonic responses and capability statements that do not provide sufficient information for evaluation by the NRC will not be considered.
