Description

North Texas VA Medical Center plans to solicit and award a Firm Fixed Price Contract for the following (Brand Name or Equal) Optoma Projector and Equipment: The intent of this project is to provide Cinema quality DVD movie showings located in the Building #3 Auditorium, Sam Rayburn Memorial Veterans Center, 1201 E. 9th Street, Bonham, Texas, 75418. Contractor shall provide all supervision, equipment, installation and labor to design and install a complete Audio/Video (A/V) Presentation System: DVD Player, Processor and/or Amplifiers, Projector, Surround-Sound Speakers and associated components. A simple system is preferred to accommodate multiple users. The contractor will engage Multi-Media System design, technical planning, installation and project management. Work experience in a hospital environment is preferred. Contractor must verify existing field conditions. Other considerations include, but are not limited to installation of products required: 1 Middle Atlantic single-circuit unit with 6 sequenced outlets. A, DVD Reg. 1 DBT-3313UDCIP 1 BLU-100 BSS Audio, 12x8 Digital Signal Processor 2 BSS Audio, Contrio single zone volume control, PoE EC-V 2 QSC Audio, PLD series amplifier, 4 channels, 400 watts @ 8 ohms PLD4.2 1 Noninv 1 QSC model AD-S282H dual woofer loudspeakers, white AD-S282H-WH 6 QSC model AD-S82 surface mounting speaker, 8" cone, white AD-S82-WH 1 QSC Audio, dual 8" bandpass subwoofer, with 70/100v transformer and 8-ohm bypass, w/ yoke and suspension hardware AD-S28Tw 1 EH503 Optoma, 1080p, 5200 lumen projector 1 Optoma, long throw lens for W505/EH505/TW775/TX785/X605 projectors BX-DL300 1 UNI-PDS Short Throw Mount-White 1 Middle Atlantic, swinging wall rack, 16 unit rack, 20" depth, with solid door EWR-16-22SD Safety and ICRA requirements: Contractor's Superintendent is required to have a 30 Hour OSHA training card and all workers must have 10 Hour card. Work is expected at elevated conditions. IT Security statement: This project has been determined to be low security risk to the US Department of Veterans Affairs. Certification and authorization requirements do not apply and security accreditation is not required. Work must not interfere with operation of the facility. Contractor must carry out all installation and related works in a presentable and aesthetically acceptable manner. All work is expected to complete during normal working hours, Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 4:30pm, and will be subject to acceptance by the COR. This project must be completed within 30 days from issued Notice to Proceed (NTP). All work will be accomplished in accordance with local, state building codes, VA and industry standards and practices.
