THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, bids, or quotations. At this time, there are NO PROJECT PLANS OR SPECIFICATIONS AVAILABLE. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information for Market Research purposes regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. Responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The U.S. Forest Service, Bridger-Teton National Forest is doing market research to understand the numbers and types of general construction contractors who have the capability and are interested in performing the following construction project: Bridger-Teton National Forest Supervisor's Office within the city of Jackson Hole, Wyoming at 340 N Cache Street, Jackson, Wyoming on Forest Service Property. The site is located in Teton County, Wyoming. This Project consists of demolition of existing site structures and construction of a two story, 19,000 SF, wood framed Supervisor's/Ranger District Office for the Bridger-Teton National Forest. The project will also include (but not limited to) two Green Globes and commissioning requirement, asbestos and hazardous material removal and disposal requirement and soil improvement/rock columns for the site using vibro-displacement stone columns requirement. Interested vendors who are registered in System for Award Management (SAM), and possess conventional bonding ability for construction jobs between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000 range should provide your company information to USDA Forest Service Attn: Marge Schafer, Contracting Officer, 1405 Hollipark Dr., Idaho Falls, ID 8340. All information must be received by the Forest Service no later than March 18, 2015, 2:00 PM MST. Interested vendors should attach informational material about the company including brochures, etc. All information shall be submitted in Word or PDF format, not to exceed 10 pages, including all attachments. Please include in your submission answers to the following: A) Under NAICS Code 236220 -Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, are you a large or small business against the SBA size standard of $36.5 Million. B) If another NAICS code may be applicable, please indentify the NAICS in your Capability Statement. C) Is your company certified in a particular socio-economic set-aside category, such as Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business, Woman Owned Business, HUBZone Owned Business, or 8(a) Business? D) Provide a brief overview of your company experience performing Building/Facility construction work in the $5,000,000 and $10,000,000 range. (Please highlight any of this work done for the U.S. Forest Service or other land management agencies and work done in the Jackson, WY area or conducted in extreme winter conditions). E) Include your firms experience with asbestos and hazardous material removal and disposal and soil improvement/rock columns for the site using vibro-displacement stone columns. F) Include your firms experience with construction projects that require working in extreme winter conditions. G) Provide the disciplines of labor and expertise your company carries "in-house", and the disciplines and trades you normally sub-contract. H) What is your expected capacity to perform this large project between the summer 2015 and fall 2016. We anticipate this project being available in late spring/early summer of 2015; however there is no guarantee or implication of a guarantee that this project will be solicited. Responses to this notice will NOT be considered adequate responses to a solicitation. Please note that the General Services Administration provides the notification service as a convenience and does not guarantee that notifications will be received by all persons on the mailing list.
