- Description
- The National Institutes of Health (NIH), Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) intends to contract, on a sole source basis, with Moore-Clark USA, Inc., 1140 Industrial Way, Longview, WA 98632 to provide 760KG of Gemma Micro 300 Feed. This new feed is needed to provide better nutritional sustenance for the Zebrafish. There have been studies that show Gemma Micro 300 is better suited for research animals, than traditional Zeigler crumble. Moore-Clark USA, Inc. is the sole supplier of Gemma Micro feed products for North America. This includes Gemma Micro 75, 150 and 300. In compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b) Soliciting from a single source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however; all responses received, before the closing date of this announcement, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed acquisition is based upon responses to this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government. It is anticipated that the RFQ NIH-NICHD-15-032 will be available fifteen (15) days after the publication date of this synopsis. Receipt of quotations will be due ten (10) days after the release of the RFQ. All interested parties to this solicitation may request a copy of the RFQ package in writing to the attention of Ms. Patricia Haun at Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute Child Health and Human Development (NICHD), 6100 Executive Blvd., Room 5C01, Rockville, MD 20852 or via email Haunp@mail.nih.gov. All requests must contain offerors name, address, telephone number and fax number. Email addresses are encouraged but not mandatory PLEASE NOTE: In order to receive an award, contractor must be registered and have valid certification in the System for Award Management (SAM) [formerly CCR].
