Description
TITLE: PEO C3T/Industry Forum Kickoff Meeting and establishment of PEO C3T/Industry Forum BACKGROUND: As a result of industry and stakeholder feedback, PEO C3T, with Army partners, is considering hosting quarterly Industry Forums as a means of providing situational awareness of PEO C3T's procurement processes and ongoing procurements. The intent would be to provide industry a brief update on coming actions and open two way dialogue to address major vendor concerns or questions. To create a successful environment for the upcoming Industry Forums, PEO C3T will be hosting a kickoff meeting in the coming months. The purpose of this request for information is to solicit feedback from industry concerning the kickoff meeting and subsequent regularly scheduled PEO C3T/Industry Forums. DESCRIPTION: The Industry Forum will provide industry representatives with the status of PEO C3T programs, ongoing procurements, and the opportunity to request updates on specific procurements of interest in a question-and-answer format. The intent of the sessions would be to enhance our Government-and-industry communication and enable industry to respond quicker to critical emerging requirements with innovative acquisition and technology solutions. The Industry Forum is to be driven by industry's questions and not by a fixed government agenda. However, when appropriate, the Government may provide information that would be useful to industry. For example, providing a presentation in order to educate our industry partners on a specific PEO C3T internal policy and/or process may be a reason to push information at the start of a session. This format will empower our industry partners to be more open and comfortable with the sharing of information and, in-turn, will enable them to attain better information supporting their pre/post award activities. The Government will not provide any procurement sensitive information that violates the integrity of the source selection process. UPCOMING EVENTS: Details about the Industry Forum Kickoff Meeting will be made available to the public via the Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fbo.gov. It is estimated that the duration of the kickoff meeting will be a half day. Event locations and dates will be scheduled based on feedback received from this RFI. Event frequency is not yet determined, but a one hour meeting either quarterly or more often is anticipated. QUESTIONS: 1.Is your company interested in participating in a PEO C3T/Industry Forum? a.If yes, what frequency would you find beneficial and why? b.How many employees from each company should be able to attend? 2.Should the PEO C3T/Industry Forum be led by the Government or Contractors? 3.What Government personnel are essential to be present at the PEO C3T/Industry Forum? 4.What topics NEED to be discussed during the PEO C3T/Industry Forum? 5.What topics SHOULD NOT be discussed during the PEO C3T/Industry Forum? 6.What information would you like to take away from the PEO C3T/Industry Forum? 7.Please provide any additional information or suggestions you believe will help to make the PEO C3T/Industry Forum a productive and informative event. Responses are due on 13 March 2015 by 1700 EST. POC's for the industry forum are Vincent D'Errico at Vincent.d.derrico.civ@mail.mil, Thomas Campana at Thomas.campana2.civ@mail.mil and Michael Querns at Michael.j.querns.civ@mail.mil. Please ensure that all POC's are copied on your response.
