- JUSTIFICATION FOR OTHER THAN FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. USCGC POLAR STAR CPP OIL TRANSFER SHAFT PARTS SOLE SOURCE JUSTIFICATION NW PROPELLER OPERATIONS, INC. The United States Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center (Oakland Detachment) intends to issue a sole source order to NW Propeller Operations, Inc. for CPP Oil Transfer Shaft Parts as listed below: 1.) Socket Head Cap Screw M20X65MM, PC05 2.) Slide Valve; Diameter 230X1630mm, PC 06 3.) Control Brush; Diameter 230X545 mm, PC 07 4.) Control Rod; Diameter 280X920 mm, PC 08 5.) Freight to Seattle, WA 98134 Northwest Propeller Operations, Inc. is the original manufacturer of referenced items and maintains the proprietary rights which make them the sole source. The NAICS for this procurement: 336611. The proposed contract action is for services in which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however all proposals received within ten days after date of this publication/synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This solicitation is restricted to: NW PROPELLER OPERATIONS, INC. 10902 25TH AVE S LAKEWOOD, WA, 98499, UNITED STATES Offers from concerns other than the above are not solicited. All responsible sources may respond by submitting qualifications/capabilities of the company to provide the installation of the MDE blower/swap by response date/time listed under "Response Date".
