- The US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) in support of US Army Medical Materiel Agency (USAMMA) intends to negotiate solely (as prescribed in FAR 13.106(b)(1)(i)) with ACUTEMP, 2900 Dryden Road, Dayton, OH, 45439, for the procurement of 350 each seasonal 2-8 6 liter vaccine carrying case and 20 additional belt set 12 hour 2-8 6 liters. Vaccines are temperature sensitive pharmaceuticals that must be maintained between specific temperature ranges during transport. This product is used for the distribution or re-distribution of temperature sensitive pharmaceuticals for short movement of less than 24 hours. Cold chain storage containers must maintain the vaccine at a temperature range between 2 and 8 degrees Celsius. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 339113 and the size standard of 500. This announcement constitutes the only notice by the government; a written solicitation will not be issued. Interested persons may identify their interest by submitting a capability statement, proposal, or quotation to the point of contact listed below. This Special Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. If no written responses are received by the date listed below, which reflects fifteen (15) days after the publication of this notice, the purchase will be awarded without further remarks.
