Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is VA260-15-Q-0280 and is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ), unless otherwise indicated herein. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-69. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 238220 with a small business size standard of $15M. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business. The Veterans Administration Puget Sound Healthcare System has a requirement for ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting of the, VA Puget Sound Healthcare System (VA PSHCS) Seattle, Washington, Heating, Ventilation, and A/C (HVAC) controls system. The Seattle Division has completed multiple construction projects to replace an antiquated pneumatic control system with a more modern direct digital control (DDC) system. This system consists of control devices (electrically actuated valves, motorized dampers, sensors, etc.), control hardware (Alerton and Phoenix circuit boards that hold the programming for adjusting the control devices), software, and a control system server. The specific requirements are listed within the attached solicitation.
